COVER REVEAL: Carmel Charmers series

OK, so this isn't a new series, but I've never been happy with the original covers.

Until now!

Thanks to Alex Ramos at ARt Designs+Illustration for my new custom illustrations for my Carmel Charmers series: Tutti-Frutti Blues and Dude Looks Like A Lady.

What do you think?

And new reviews for this series too!

Tutti-Frutti Blues: Light-hearted and Enjoyable
This is an entertaining story that will make you laugh a little and smile a lot. A fun, quick read that soaks you up while you're on the streets of Carmel. ~ Cheyenne Johnson, Amazon
Dude Looks Like A Lady: Fun Quick Read
This is a great book if you're looking for something quick, light-hearted, and entertaining. I laughed out loud in a few scenes and found the characters to be just like the title says... charming. ~ Cheyenne Johnson, Amazon
Carmel Charmers series: Simply Elegant and Makes you Smile
The Carmel Charmers are fun fast reads that make you smile. They are well written and entertaining to read. I went through them while breastfeeding and pumping. Great for when you need to stop and start reading often. I highly recommend if you are looking for something quick and simple that will make you happy. They definitely make me want to move to a tiny coastal town somewhere. ~ Cheyenne Johnson, Amazon

A Year of Gratitude 2018

Let's make 2018 the best year ever!

Have you ever heard of a 'gratitude jar'?

Every day you write down something that made you happy that day...a good deed you did for others (RAK...random act of kindness), something good that happened to you, good news received or given...anything that made you smile or laugh or that brought joy to your day. No need to elaborate. Something as simple as "I paid for the coffee for the lady in line behind me" or "me time, coloring" or "walked on the beach"...Anything that makes you happy or laugh. It doesn't have to be grandiose...just something happy.

Add to this by setting a coin jar beside the gratitude jar. For those days when you don't feel you have anything to be grateful for, put a quarter (25c) into it. Or 20p or 20 eu cent, or something equivalent to wherever you live. At 25c, it's only about $91, but that $91 can go a long way to a charity in need. Of course, you're welcome to add additional spare change to the jar!

No automatic alt text available.

At the end of the year, you should have two things to look at that will make you happy...

✴️ Gratitude jar -- Read through all of the notes to see all of the things that made you happy through the year. (let's try keeping politics and religion out of it and focus on YOU)

✴️ Coin jar -- Use this money to donate to a needy charity. Even if those days you dropped coins in the jar you didn't feel great, donating your collected coins should make you happy! Donating can be as simple as putting the coins into one of the dogs for the blind coin boxes, or donating the money to your nearest soup kitchen.

I've started a Facebook group for those wishing to join the journey!

So, what do you say? I have both of my jars waiting. Who's with me? Let's start off 2018 on the right foot!

Happy New Year, everyone, and thank you so much for supporting my stories with your purchases and reviews!
