What do you think?

🤔

Even though I'm a writer, I sometimes have a hard time finding something interesting to say between books.

As readers, what do you like seeing on author pages like this between book releases?

My current WIP is set in San Francisco. A far cry from the Irish set stories I normally write. In fact, in 14 published titles, only two are set elsewhere...Wales (Awakening, my only published historical) and India (One Night in New Delhi, part of the City Nights series).

My repertoire also is normally all about romance. The only non-romance book I've written is Murder in Mornington, which is a cozy mystery, though there is a lot of flirting in the story. Over the series, I'm building the relationship between Sassy and the detective, but will it consummate or will they go their own ways? Sassy certainly has been adamant about not wanting a man in her life.

So the new WIP is 180 degrees away from romance. Not a kiss, no tender touch, no driving passion...other than to catch the bad guy. I'm calling this new series Jack Reacher meets the Streets of San Francisco.

This is a complete change for me, and will be too for readers who are used to my romances.

So, what I'd like to know is:

Do you have any questions or comments about this new direction I'm taking?

What do you want to know about the story or my protagonist?

Or anything else...

Please visit me on my Facebook page and join the conversation and let me know your thoughts. Or use the mailer on the right. I love chatting with my readers. So let's start a conversation!
